"Day Dreams" 12x12 scrapbook

I day dream, when Wiola and I walk and think about how it would be if we where to start competing in Rally, if we where to move, build our own house. If I could make a living, doing what I love. We all have different things we go around thinking about, what we would do if...
So I thought I would take a moment to document just what I'm dreaming about now at 22.

The page is quite simple, not much product but I wanted to keep it light, let the background show.
The kraft cardstock is painted with white and a grey acrylic paint and then silver splatters. I thought it looked like a sky and how perfect is the for the "head in the blue" so I draw some clouds and stitched. That took longed then I care to admit but I love it!
This page is one of my favorite, so many elements coming together, like this tag. I wanted a tag with the title so i stamed using the oh-so-cute stamp set from Paiper Projekt, a dymo word and subtile is a strip from Tim Holtz "small talk".
What is with the animals here, every time!!
But she really is cute, isn't she!

Keeping the photo cluster light and small means that the background will have a bigger role. Here I really get the feeling of night and dreams without it being a dark or heavy background. I hope you like this page and that it inspired you to document your day dreams!

lfe kit; Twenty sixteen

twenty sixteen
It's a new year and new possibility and stuff. But today, let's talk about the new kit by Likeforever.
So when I had received my kit I look through it and started to make a sort of mental plan of what papers and embellishments I could use with  what photo. I started with a photo from autumn 2014 of baby W.
The photo is matted on washi tape and I sprayed the hexagons from the Heidi Swapp ephemera pack with Heidi-Shine is Teal and Navy. I did the same for the title that is of thickers with fabric on top.  I did my journaling on my typewriter and added silver glitter leafs. These are cut out using dies from Maggie Holmes and Lawn Fawn.

I know I have made allot of pages of W but looking back I felt that too many of them didn't have a story. Here I write about how and why I love her. One of the reasons being is the she often sleeps next to my desk, like she is doing now. Just wanting to be near and for that small thing I love her.
So far so well but on late night I was sitting looking at the stuff (just like any normal scrapbooker does) and I thought of how this wasn´t me and how I could never make it look good... Let's say I shouldn´t be making decisions late at night...
And just like that I had cut up all of the papers and made a "junk-journal"

I do really like how it looks the papers are so fun, I think I could have made many pretty layout... But It's done and even though I have no idea for what to use it for I like it... C'est la vie

Adorable Wiola

Hello
I have the last layout in the fine& dandy challenge to show you, where I use the 6x6 paper pad from Dear Lizzy fine & dandy collection

In this one I went back to the 12x12 and started with a white cardstock. I wanted to have a panel with different pattern papers from red to pink to white and then sewn down. And if I say so, it turned out pretty close to what my plan was.
Whit all of this light colors and patterns I wanted to bring in black to humph it up. I love using black as an accent color, here I have the tiny word strips from Maggie Holmes and from her also a black & white bow.
The title is part Maggie Holmes too, I think you is the queen of ephemera packs!. The vellum word "adorable" is from her Confetti line and "Wiola" is thinkers Gilded

The heart and the gold dots are from Studio Calico, the word stickers from Maggie Holmes and the label is from Teresa Collins

Here I wanted to play with the layers under the photo so instead of just patterned paper I also had some pink tissue and that fun star vellum from Maggie Holmes.
I hope that you have liked this little series and that i will see you all soon

Project Life Week 36

Hello! We are going in to September here is my first week:

This week I decided to just go with my "routine" (The DIY kit from Becky Higgins and black letter stickers from Panduro) I had allot of journaling for this week so I picked the cards with wood-grain. I really like this page and it only have ONE embellishment, the golden Studio Calico heart.

Like I said I had allot of journaling so I tried this pocket from Simple Stories- Sn@p.
In the pocket I have a journaling-card and underneath is another photo. (you can hear my rambelling about this in the process video ;)

So that was the main page (design A) but I also wanted to 3 4x6 vertical photos from the No Limit street art. So I took a design D and cut of the first row. Then I just took my mini stapler and put them in the top & bottom corners. Not so fancy but it works.

And of course when I got to the puppy-part the light was way to bad! But here it is. This is a page protector from Simple Stories so I don´t know what it´s called but I like that it´s like the trusted Design A but a bit different. On this page I didn´have as much journaling and I wanted to try something new. So I took the DIY-cards that had butterflies! I know I´m so wild!

Maybe next week I´ll try some new cards
have a great week
