scrapbook page "Selfie" with PL cards and watercoloring

So the other day I was putting away my Project Life stuff after finishing week 10's page and I saw the cards on top of the corekit-tray. Next to the tray was a photo that hadn't made it to the page and the colors was just perfect for each other!

I love it when this kind of stuff happens, getting inspired by the things on your desk and making a layout that you just love. Here it was the colors of the cards that inspired me, the light blue, grey and soft coral and they went so well with my photo.
I took the PL cards, layered them behind my photo and them slabbed watercolor in the background. I really like how soft the layout id without being overly feminin. well apart from the lace-flower...
I wanted a soft, messy background and watercolor is perfect for that.
Adding the gold glitter tape and white dots adds texture without jumping out in your face. The tiny wordsticker are cream with blue lines and gold text, perfect! The journaling I added with a "stabilo 88/13". This is one of very few pages where I haven't added heavy black elements and it really accents the soft colors of the photo.
Here you can really see the bad print of the photo, but I had just ordered some photos, this among them, so I will change it. I normally don't mind if my photos are printed at home or ordered but when this print is so bad and I really like the layout, it's worth changing it.

All in all, I like the page (just going to change the photo) and I'm so happy that I stopped what I was doing and made this cute page of me and my brother.

Project Life set up 2016 + week 3 process

Project Life for 2016
I thought about this for quit some time, changing size, set up and design. I really wanted to try a 8x8 with costume page design using the fuse... Well long story short, good idea (saving it for maybe next year)  but I'm sticking to the 12x12 but changing up the design.

In the previous years I have done 1 page per week and used different kits and brand for the cards. Now I like looking at them, seeing the different colors and patterns changing, what I like and what was trendy. But this year I'm trying to stick to one core kit The Prismatic by Heidi Swapp
The Prismatic
This kit is so pretty, bold and bright. Some of the colors and designs are a bit too edgy for me but I like it and I think it will go well with my photos.

And to really mix it up I have added a pack of mixed pocket page designs. But that is it, I'm sticking to one kit, mixing it up with pocket designs and the only "thing" I'll add are stamps.

Let's see how long that lasts...
So far I like it, the kit as many colors to choose from so you can make allot of different color combos but also keeping it clean ans easy. On this week 3 I added a pop of hot pink and that lovely floral pattern. So that is my plan for 2016, simple PL and meaningful scrapbook pages

lfe Hello Beautiful kit: project life week 46

I don´t very often add news things in my PL but I couldn´t leave out what happened in Paris last week. Paris for me is a dream, France is a dream and what happen there was a nightmare. But I wanted to have it in my album, hidden. The sn@p pockets are perfect and this way it´s there but it´s not the first thing you´ll see.
Love from all over the world to Paris
I have to say it was a bit hard to focus on the good things for this week after Paris but here are 2: Majken did so well on our trick training and I reached 15% fluently in french!

Acorn Avenue Kit: project life week 40

Week 40, all ready we have come in to October! What happens whit the time. But I have to say that I love the autumn colors and the high air we get here in Sweden. Witch I feel that this kit has captured.

I don´t tend to reach for sequins and getting a hole bag of them in this kit really is a challenge. How ever I´m not the one to turn down a challenge so I thought that using allot of them for a project life shaker pocket was a brilliant idea! I used my sewing-machine  to close the pocket but I think the fuse-tool would be perfect.
A few days ago I got the stitched leaves from Lawn Fawn, witch I love! And I cut them out on this self-adhesive glitter paper.  The blue matches so well whit the thickers and I just love the glitter whiteout the mess!
One of my favorite cards it the ones whit lots of arrows telling what you can already see. Here I did that on a photo of the training thing I use when training clicker with W.
I like journaling in my project life but don´t always want it as a text. So I often just wright what I have done on the days here I have stamped them. And the and "stories", this week I wrote them out in the Project Life App just to be sure that the text would fit n a 3*4 pocket

Project Life week 16

Hello!
I have been complaining allot on my camera not behaving so today I was surprised the he acted well, on the other hand my printer did not...

For this week I wanted the page protector I used last week, but sens I used it last week I didn´t have it. So I took another from Simple Stories that had 3 4*6 and 1 6*12. I just saw, not that straight with my machine.
Best title card ever! If I may say so. I did some water colors earlier and loved this card. This has been me the week and I even draw in my new flower lights the 4*6 is also a watercolor card from today. To finish it I added some gold thickers and a date stamp.
Here I took anther watercolor card, taped it to a 4*6 and then printed this small collage from the Project Life App. I really like doing my journaling in the app and on this I used a card from the Midnight kit.
In the 2*12 pocket I put a paper from the Open Book (!) and then 4 2*2 photos with tiny word stickers from Tim Holtz. If you didn´t want that 2*12 pocket it´s super easy to just cut it of.
Here you can really see the bad mood my printer was in and I just gave up. I´ll try to print again later but now I´m just o sick of it, it´s just supposes to work!

Project Life week 15

Hello!

This week I got my order from HoneyBunny and I was so inspired by the stuff that I had to use it for the weeks project life!

I´m so  surprised that I love this title card! I don´t normally like this peach color but here you see the power of color combinations. Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party is to cute! I used my flower punch trough out the page as interest and here I put some glitter tape under. Love it! The thicker are Dear Lizzy too, Treasure in vanilla and there is like a news print under and sugar on top.
I did my journaling in the PL app (so I could use the emojis) and the I added a sn@p pocket. In the pocket I did a 4*6 page about my brothers 12th birtday, like a super mini layout.
Not allot of embelishments on this two I used the paper, a punch and some glitter tape. The trick is to layer tightly.
I´m a big fan the the sn@p line but come on! the 2*12 is not really 2*12! So I sew it shut, if not it will just keep falling out. But if you don´t have or use a sewing maching just use a stapler

Project Life week 14

Hello! It´s week 14 and I had a bit of a crazy moment... I filmed it and called it Project Life Week 14. Why is that crazy? Well I just had to use the open Book and went a bit over board!

I did my journaling in the PL app and I really like it, especially sens I had quit a lot for this week.

Making the pockets work for you can be hard, here I had a 4*6 and just be cutting it in half I cold use it in the design I. I now get to keep the photo, more space around it (good when I have such a active page) and more space for journaling.

Well lucky it´s Easter so if there ever was a time to go all out with color I suppose it now.

Project Life week 13

Hello!

For this week of Project Life I really wanted to try to get a calm and soft page.

I printed my photos from the "Collect" app, giving the photos a white frame and journaling. Just this made the page allot more calmness. Adding the colors from the Teresa Collins- Life Emporium just underlined that softness without it getting too girly. The colors in the papers went to well with the colors in the photo and together it´s very harmonious.
Now let´s just take a moment to appreciate this Thickers- Sentiment
So cute she is, miss Wiola. The 4*6 paper with the white flowers are one of my faverots from the collection and I just left it as is. I really like how it looks, letting to just be a 4*6 with a pretty pattern.
The one thing that I´m not overly found of is this card but I still let it be... Well maybe I´ll go in and change it later X)

Project Life week 12

Hello!

It feels so good going in to week 13 and having week 12 done! Not that I was very late last week but I just really love doing my project life on Sundays. And I have to say I´m so happy with the colors for this week, purple, navy blue and light green! I just really love cool colors.

I always try to fit in movie tickets, either like this or in my month pocket. (I have a 6*8 pocket for each month to put stuff, like movie tickets, postcards and misc.)
Here is just a 3*4 from my watercolor play.
The other day we had a really pretty sunset so I had to head out and capture our lake. And turning around, our house with cotton-candy pink clouds.
I love the Lucky Charm Value Kit and really wanted to use it for this week, but  I also took in a 4*6 Love Note card to balance the colors
When I first got the Sn@p pockets I wasn´t sure i would ever use them, and not use them all. But I have! They are great and so fun to work with, adding 2 extra photos without any bulk or fill it with glitter and sequins.

Project Life week 10

Hello!

Here we go week 10, the week 10 page all of my favorites: Open Book, design G and gold letters.

I finely think I´ve figured out the camera setting, lets pray it works out! So now you get see what I do. And another good thing is that I really like the weeks page. The pocket design is by far my favorit and I love the colors.
To fit another photo I used a pocket from Sn@p and on the photo I have my favorite gold letters and two red puffy hearts. The pocket is 4*4 and the photo under is 4*6 but I really don´t see that as a problem.
when lifting that pocket is a photo of my desk and just a date stamped in the corner.
The title card is from "Open Book" with that amazing flower patterned ripped on ether side and those gold letters.
In the 3*4 pockets I just cut this photo in half and I like how the red on the top och the layout comes again on the title card, making the layout feel calm.
