I love my traveler's notebook from Webster's Pages ans I use it all day, every day. Now, the TN is only as good as the books inside it and i like to make my own. They are so fun and easy to make!
The cover I showed how to make here . The inside pages (10 A4 sheets) are just copy paper of a 160g. I got that at the office store and it's so good! I started using this book in July (it's my July book) and I have stamped and done allot of water-coloring.
This paper takes it so well for not being "proper"!
So fold the papers and cover in the middle. Measure out the holes and saw together. Use a roller when cutting the pages and go slow!! Very slow, this will give you a nice edge.
Now the cover is part Heidi Shine and part watercolor. The shine is beautiful but I found that it robed of in the TN. I just put a thin coat of matt medium on top.
The drama is over, I now have straight-edged-cardstocks!!
I have shopped at Scrobby.nl a handful of times and even though things can go wrong (exibit A) they are always so very nice and helpful. I think now when we shop more and more online and in other countrys the stores has even more pressure on delivering the promised products. It's not just packing the right stuff it's also is shipping it in a safe way and be there after to make sure it all got delivered. This means more focus on customer servis to make sure that the costumer will come back even though some things went wrong. And it's here that Scrobby.nl deserves it's golden star, in handling the unhappy customer (me) and making sure (I) will return, and that I will!
They shipped the papers again and also the traveler's notebook. How ever I don't need two so my sister got a nice surprise yesterday...
When shopping online and things don't end up the way they should, contact the store. Usually they will help you and try to get you back.
I'm so happy I got the Webster's Pages Traveler's Notebook. It's so pretty and big, it feels like you can just keep adding to it. I have started to set it up over the weekend and I have a feeling it will change many times over. I also ordered, a few weeks ago, from Alice´s Sweet Castle both Inserts and a Zipper bag . Here is a little look inside of it for now, I love that I have all of them together and how pretty they all are. I think I may go through my stickers and add a few (or more) to the pockets.

Hard things happens to us all, different things at different times an they effect us in different ways. A hard thing for one may not bother another. But we all get them and we all have to deal with them.
I have had allot of hard things happen to me in the last years but I have found that scrapbooking helps. For some it might be odd or weird but sitting down, thinking about it, writing about it helps.
So that is the way I walk now, trying to deal with my W being unwell.
My W, that I have rised sens the day she was born, have had a hard spring. With a tic related disease in the autumn and now we found out that her back knee isn't working right, she is a fighter.
I wanted to make a page about the hard time that we are going through but still with a positive feeling, that we are all expecting the best.
I hope that I might have inspired you to tell something hard that is going on in your life now, if not on a scrapbook page but maybe in a notebook or an artjournal. I do think it feels so much better once it's out. Not that W's knee will magically be fixed but I have recorded how it's now that gives me a tiny bit of feeling in control. That even though this happens and I can't do anything about it, I can decide how it's told and we look on it.
Hello! I hope you all had an amazing time this past weekend and joyed in on the fun of international scrapbook day/weekend. I did quit allot this weekend but two layouts managed to be completed and I'll shear them today and on Wednesday with you!
The first one was inspired but the Felicity Jane iNSD recipe challenge on their facebook group posted but Jen Schow (her video) the challenge was to use something craft, hidden, stamps and something horded.
The colors of the layout was inspired by the background paper and the pink chevron bag that I got when I ordered from SirapiParis. This paper I wouldn't normally pick but when I saw it with the paper-bag I just knew it would make a really cute page.
So the challenge, craft- tag, hidden-journaling in paper-bag, stamp-the date (that totally smeared and looks awful, horded- fabric tape.
