The long awaited order from Scrobby.nl is in the house!! Now this time I just wanted to order "fun" things (my last order was more must-have supplies) but the order was hold up and the delivery date was pushed up time and time again. From middle of September to beginning of November! That was not sitting well with me so I asked if I could change out the items the was hold up to some other things. No problem and not even a week later it was here!!
I have said before how much I like their service and I'll say it again they are so good to deal with and they help with everything! Now they also do this, sends a photo while packing your order!! That is such a fun idea and I really like!
So I got quite allot from the Gather, Cool Kid and Take Me Away and then the 6x6 pad & puffy sticker from Cute Girl. I can't wait to start to play!! Some of the things are for specific projects and some are for, well they where just too cute not to get...
I have had such a hard day. I have fibromyalgi and today it has really been acting up so when I got my order from Sirap I Paris it really brightened my day!
I placed this order this weekend when scrolling through Instagram (I should not be looking at Instagram late sunday nights...) and saw that they had some of the new stuff from American Crafts.
Now this is a pretty big deal sens these brands are a challenge to say the least to get in Sweden. They only had a few pieces from each line and I have recently place a big order over at Scrobby.nl (expected delivery date; 15 november...) so this was more because it was fun and I really wanted them! The perk of shopping from a Swedish store is you get it after a few days. The not so fun is the higher price you'll have to pay for it...
(One thing that I truly hate about online-shopping is that you hardly ever get to see the front and back of product like these, is it really so hard to post a photo like this so here you can see the front and back?!!)
So in my big order from Scrobby.nl I have quit allot of the "Cool Kid" but not these. They are puffy stickers but they are not so puffy. They are shiny and I would totally have gotten the "Cute Girl" if they would have had them.
Heidi Swapp Color Shine "Tinsel"
I have wanted a pretty silver mist and now when I'm starting a mini about my brother (using the "Cool Kid" by Crate Paper that has silver) I thought it would be a good excuse. It is pretty but I thought it would be more... sparkly, I don't know but the gold is so sparkly... well, well.
Amy Tangerine "Oh happy life" roller stamp
I have had my eye on this stamp but wasn't sure if the tiny font would stamp well. Well it does, so cute! I like that the handle is wood and that you get the weekdays and some that you can use when ever.
I really like that Sirap I Paris include a little gift in each order, these sticker will go straight to my TN! I do like shopping at them, they have a good price on shipping and it usually only takes a few days. They say that they have "selected inspiration" and that is true, they only have a few piece from each line and I wish that they would have the same piece from different lines. Like paper-pad, stickers and chipboard for example. or that you could pre-order to get the stuff you wanted.
I also would like some more information, more photo, like front and back and how many sticker there is in one pack, how much the paper weigh or how much is it in the ephemera pack...
When it comes to the price it's high. I ordered for the minimum, 249 SEK (about 30$), witch i think is a bit much for the stuff i got... However these things apply to all scrapbook stores in Sweden and in fact I think Sirap I Paris is among the ones that do the best when it comes to information and bringing in new products. Will i shop at them again? Yes of curse! I will continue to place (small) orders and I like that they bring in the new fun things!
So I was doing some grocery-shopping today and I happen to stroll past the crafty shelf... I fund these two packs, one with tags and pockets and one with some copper-foiled die-cuts *happydance*
(photos from ICA) They coast 20kr each and for a pack of 104 I have to count that as a score!
They are so pretty and the die-cuts comes with 52 design, two of each and like I said, copper foiled! I like that gold isn't so dominating any more and these colors and floral are just perfect.
Is there any thing better to find in your mailbox then happy-mail? This week I got my order from Pyhobby.se and the July and August kits from Felicity Jane.
The July kit was design by the lovely Suse Fish and I think I might do a mini with this kit...
The August kit, called "Maggie" has a very fun and fresh feel. What I will do with it, as of now I have no idea but it will be very fun to play with.
A very spontaneous order from pyhobb.se but this paper pack "Tales from Willson Wood" was just too cute! Think I want to make a TN insert, and cut all of those cute critters out!!
Hi! Today I thought I would shear some thoughts on shopping at Aliexpress. At Aliexpress you can find pretty much anything for much less then you would normally pay. That is great but they also have allot of awesome stuff for us craft nerds!!
I have shopped there for a few month and think it's great! The best part is the price. You can find so much for so much less. You can find almost anything and some really cool thing you didn't even knew you needed! So what's the catch? Well as any other online stores, you can't be sure of what you get intill you get it... and that can take some time. To Sweden it usually takes about 3-4 weeks. Now sometimes it takes less and some time it's longer. So when shopping at Ali, think of this;
-Read all the information, especially the measurements. If you get clothes really read it!
-Read the feedback, here you can get an idea for how long the shipping is, if the things are what they promised and how the sellers deal with unhappy costumers.
- Look again, with free shipping and low prices you can and should take time to look around. Put the things in your cart and keep looking, go back and look again. Chances are you can find a better or to a better price.
Now here are my top 5 that I have found at Aliexress over the past couple of months. All the photos are from the store so you can see what I saw. Follow the links for more information.
The first i just had to shear is this: The glorious golden scissors *angels singing*
These are just so pretty! They cut really well but they are just so pretty!
Another thing I was so happy tho find was this set of bow-dies. They come in a set of three and to a great price. I have used them many times and love making felt-bow-paperclips.
And here is something for my fellow artists; a set of 9 micron pens. Great price but the shipping was a bit longer for these but still, great value!
The 4th tip are these washi-tapes, they come from the same store and I found them to be really good quality and great price!
The best I saved for last; a Traveler's Notbook from Alice's Sweet Castle. In this store you can find traveler's notebooks and all type of accessories. I have really like what i have ordered from them, good shipping time and good quality. I just picked up my new pocket size book and it's so cute, can't wait till I gen play with it! (expect more videos!)
I ordered the "bundle" and got the book with inserts and lots of goodies, really recommend this for those of you how want o try but don't want to spend allot.
Those where my tips on shopping and what to shop at Aliexpress. I hope this been informational to you and that you give it a go!
About 2 weeks ago I made an order at scrapbook.com, you know just the "must haves" like trimmer blades and gold Heidi Shine... But I also wanted to try the texture paste so I got the gold (surprise!) and a set of two stencils.
Well I just had to try the paste and stencils right away!
So here is my thoughts:
The paste is amazing! It truly is gold-like, easy to work with and drys rather quickly. The only thing is the tub, not being able to put the paste back if you get too much. All in all 4,5 and I want more colors! The black and the teal are on my wishlist.
The stencils are of good quality, sturdy and thick. You get a nice and sharp look but I would have liked the material to be easier to clean of. Also these I'll giva a 4,5.
Over the past weeks I have gotten a few very happy thing that I thought to share with you!
First; I'm so happy to finally get my Felicity Jane kits! I sign up for the international bundle for march/april (still haven't gotten those but hope to get them some time...) and now I got the may and june! Everything is so pretty and of such good quality.
May kit: "Note to self"
June kit: "Next stop"
W is guarding the the kits from the paper thief, Majken...
From PYhobby picked up some tape-refills (fun!), black & white washi (my other is almost at an end) and then I found some fun things from "La De Dah" A glue pen, gold stickers and sticky notes.
I really like the colors of these but to call them sticky is a huge lie.
This little book comes with 5 sheets of gol foiled stickers. The gold is really nice, cute design and very usable. Really recommend this one! The "glue pen" (very similr to the smash one) is NOT something I will recommend. The glue isn't good and the pen is not nice or smooth to write with. sorry La De Dah.
One of my favorite washis; the simple black & white diagonal striped one. I got one roll in, march i think, and I need a new one!
The last of the things I've gotten is five new pens.
I don't really need new pens but these colors where just so cute! The top 2 are just "normal" but the middle two are neon red and pink! The bottom one is a gold ball-point!!!
W also gaurds my lovelly traveler's notebook...
Now I just need a cute pen-case to take all my pens in with me!
